Join the Seattle Sephardic Network to explore the rich history and culture of Seattle's current and historic Sephardic neighborhoods.
Created in partnership with the Washington State Jewish Historical Society, this tour explores Seattle's rich and vibrant Sephardic history that resonates throughout community life today. Seattle has the third-largest Sephardic population in the United States and this proud heritage is highlighted in this tour, which takes place in Seattle's Central Area. Join community tour guides (including some who grew up in the old neighborhood) who will share their stories as you embark on either a 2.25-mile walking tour of highlights of Seattle's Sephardic past. Participants will enjoy a Sephardic treat along the way and will return to Washington Hall 2 hours after the tour starts.
